Trial, cancellation, refunds, and where Apple fits in.

How does the free trial work?

New subscribers get a 14-day free trial of RunCadence with full access to coaching, plan generation, and Apple Watch workouts.

You can cancel any time during the trial and you won't be charged. If you don't cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the price shown when you signed up.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by RunCadence. To cancel:

  1. Open the iOS Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Find RunCadence and tap Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. We can't cancel or refund on your behalf, but we're happy to walk you through any issue.

How do refunds work?

Refunds are handled by Apple. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the RunCadence purchase, and request a refund. Apple usually responds within 48 hours.

If you ran into a bug and want context for your refund request, write to support@runcadence.app and we'll help where we can.

Usage limits & lite mode

RunCadence gives you a generous amount of coaching every week and every month. You'll almost never bump into the limits in normal use. If you ever do, here's what happens:

  • Plan rebuilds have a monthly allowance. If you've rebuilt your plan from scratch a lot in one month, the coach will switch to targeted edits (move a session, swap a workout, adjust a week) instead of full rebuilds until your allowance resets at the start of the next month.
  • Chat messages have a weekly allowance. If you reach it, the coach keeps working but in a lighter mode: still helpful, just a touch less depth. Full coaching comes back at the start of the next week.

You can always see your current usage in the Profile → Usage & billing screen.

I'm in beta / TestFlight. Do I need to subscribe?

Beta testers have free access while we polish the app. You'll be notified before the public launch and given a fair window to decide whether to subscribe.
